What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness, often experienced as deep relaxation, where the mind becomes more open to helpful suggestions and change. 

You remain aware and in control throughout the process. It is not about being “put under” or losing control, but about working collaboratively with your mind in a more focused and receptive way.

Hypnotherapy simply uses this natural state to support change—helping to shift patterns, responses, and habits that may feel stuck.

My approach to hypnotherapy is grounded, ethical, and integrated with psychotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is not used in isolation, but as part of a wider therapeutic approach when appropriate—helping you not only understand your experience, but also shift it.


Qualifications

I hold a Diploma in Mindfulness-Based Clinical Hypnosis, alongside additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, NLP, and Solution-Focused approaches.

This allows me to integrate hypnotherapy safely and effectively within a professional therapeutic framework.


Practical Information

  • £100 per session
  • Sessions are 60 minutes
  • Available in-person in Swansea or online
  • Hypnotherapy can be used as a standalone approach or integrated with counselling and psychotherapy
