Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your full attention to the present moment — to what is happening here and now in your body, your mind, and your environment. It is an invitation to meet yourself with curiosity, openness, and compassion, without judgment.

Rather than being caught in past regrets or future worries, mindfulness allows us to return home to ourselves — to the now, where life is truly happening.

Through mindfulness, we develop a greater sense of self-awareness and learn to relate differently to our thoughts and emotions. We learn to soften reactivity, reduce stress and anxiety, and cultivate a deeper sense of inner calm and stability.

My Approach to Mindfulness

I am a qualified Mindfulness Now Teacher, having completed my training at the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation in England. This program is approved by the British Psychological Society and integrates traditional mindfulness teachings with modern therapeutic approaches.

I weave mindfulness into my work both as a standalone practice and as a powerful tool within therapy sessions. Mindfulness supports clients in becoming more present with their emotions, more connected to their bodies, and more aware of habitual patterns that may be holding them back from living fully.

My personal journey with Mindfulness

When I left Brazil and moved to London at 25 years old, I stepped into the unknown completely alone and without speaking English. I carried only £800 and a strong sense of trust in life.

I deeply believe I would never have been able to create a new life in a new country on my own if I had lived stuck in the past or constantly worrying about the future.

Mindfulness taught me to anchor into each present moment — to feel my breath, to trust each small step, and to meet each challenge as it arrived. This presence allowed me to build a new life, learn a new language, create my practice, and eventually help others reconnect with themselves in this same compassionate and steady way.

My own journey informs how I share mindfulness today: as an invitation to return home to yourself, to build inner resilience, and to discover the quiet strength that already lives within you.
